I 'forced' the install directly from the installation disc. I doubleclicked the setup file in the disc menu and the install went on with out a hitch. Somehow, when clicking on run.exe in the disc startup menu, the software 'recognized' that WHS Connector had been previously installed though I had performed an uninstall. I have since found the connector software is also on the server and can be accessed if your computer 'sees' the server in your network.
